Squamous cell carcinoma
NeNe_11 posted:
Hello- Im new to this community-Im visiting from over atthe fibro site & have a question regarding treatments for SCC inside the nostril.
My mother was just diagnosed after having 2 polyps removed & biopsied last week. She is 87 years old, a breast cancer survivor & has heart disease as well.
We are considering two options: MOHS surgery or radiation therapy. I would like to know if anyone has had either done for scc inside the nose & what were your experiences with it.
We are meeting with both docs this week & want to make the best possible decision for her. She is still full of life & wants to beat this, as she has heart disease & breast cancer!
Thanks in advance,
