    Blister on my tonsils

I have a blister on my left tonsil that has been there for a few weeks now. It hurts so much just to drink water and I am scared to death. Does anyone know if this may be a sign of oral cancer? It's not herpes. I have seen that before and this is completely different. I know it's not strep because I would have had more symptoms by now. Thanks
