I have a hard movable pink lump in the roof of my mouth on roof left side near front doesn't hurt. Could not pierce it. I was at the dentist less than two months ago and it was not detected. Am 35 year old female, smoked for about three years but quit about 15 years ago. What could it be and should I wait to have it checked or get it checked asap? Thanks

Hi Rudy,

The only way to know what this is, is to have it be seen by your dentist. And yes, as you are concerned about this, see your dentist.

Let us know what they find out.

Went to dentist and he did not know but referred me to an oral surgeon...turned out to be a large amount of scar tissue...what a relief!
