Tooth resorption

I have been told that one of teeth is decaying/dying from the inside (conclusion from a digital x-ray) and there is no treatment for this. The tooth will have to be pulled and replaced with an implant or bridge.

My question - can this be true no treatment to save the tooth????

Dear An_245817:

This IS NOT a poll question. This is a question that should be directed to the specialist in the area: The Endodontist.

If you truly have internal resorbtion, and the tooth cannot be saved, it is a decision that should be made very carefully with as much information as possible, by the most qualified person around.

Please ask your dentist to refer you to an Endodontist or just goto www.aae.org and look up a qualified Endodontist near you.

Best of luck,
Dr. Zev Kaufman
