Hi, I am desperate for answers form anyone who might know whats going on here...let me start out with the fact im 4 months pregnant, and i have a food allergy to mangoes that i was diagnosed with 8 years ago. About a week and a half ago i ate one small bite of a mango...seeing if maybe my allergy had gone down or something...a whole 3 days later my lip got a small flesh colored "bump" on it...i figured it was a cold sore coming in so i treated it right away with some drying medicine. I also had a tiny white pimple looking bump right below the middle of my bottom lip. i mean it was TINY...the next morning i woke up and my lips were about halfway covered with tiny white dots and felt like sandpaper when rubbing them together...they were dry and slightly swollen. When i did research on google, i found it could be "Fordyces Spots" ok, i could see that but then the next morning i woke up and my lips were COVERED in tiny white spots and swollen, but they had no pain or discomfort other than that you feel with normal chapped lips. As days went on they became worse, more chapped, they started cracking i was noticing they were getting crusty like they are leaking fluid and its drying up on my lips...When this happens i press a HOT washcloth onto them the clean them...its the worse in the mornings when i wake up. This has been going on for about a week...if it was an allergic reaction i figured it would be gone by now or at least getting better...i have no blisters or sores...just extremely chapped cracked swollen uncomfortable ugly lips.someone please help...im going to doctor today to see what he says. Thanks!
