    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

    Sudden Sensative Teeth
    MaryBWaddell posted:
I am a 50 year young female. I have never had any teeth issues. A few weeks ago all of my teeth became super sensative to cold. It's really strange. I am trying special tooth paste but wonder if there could be an underlying reason for the sudden change?
    Caprice_WebMD_Staff responded:
    Hi Mary,

Did the sensitivity begin after you began using the special tooth paste? What kind of toothpaste is it (I don't mean the brand name but what is it supposed to do for you/why are you trying it?).

    Zev Kaufman, DDS responded:
    Dear MaryBWaddell:
Yes, the tooth paste could be the culprit. However, without examining you, it is difficult to make any conclusions.
I do recommend that you talk to your dentist, who can physically examine you.
    Best of luck,
    Dr. Zev Kaufman
