Blood vessel under tongue
avatar
Patoakie posted:
I just recently noticed a purplish spot, more like a burst blood vessel under my tongue on the connective tissue area. It appeared almost overnight. There is no pain. I plan on on going to my physician if it does not go away in a few days. Since I floss daily and brush well, I thought perhaps I jammed my toothbrush there. The only thing I have changed in my oral care has been changing to SENSODYNE toothpaste and using PLAX before brushing. Wondering if this is something common? I don't smoke or drink alcohol.
