broken tooth causing purple spot in mouth
An_247350 posted:
have a broken tooth and it is touching my cheek and causing a purple spot on it what should i do is this normal
Zev Kaufman, DDS responded:
Dear An_247350:

Yes, it is normal. What you are describing is a blood blister in the cheek caused by the sharp edges of the tooth. It is normal, yet undesirable. You must go and see your dentist and have the tooth treated. Either extracted, or restored.

Best of luck,
