    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

    Yours in health,

Im having a weird issue of having the taste of prefume in my mouth. I woke up this way. I have not been able to get the taste out. I have not started any new medication, and I have tried to pinpoint to where it came from. Its driving me nuts

    Hi Longwalk,

It's now a day later, has the taste eased after a day of eating/drinking, teeth-brushing, etc.?

The taste is getting lighter. I was at the doctors yesterday so I thought to ask about this issue as well. He said it is probably a virus. He said he would do nothing initially except "watch" it. If it did not subside in a week or two, then he would check for some other things. Overall, I am very healthy even though I am overweight. So, this issue was concerning since I could not pin point it's origin.

I'm glad you spoke with your doctor and the two of you will be monitoring this, Longwalk.
