Root Canal Pain after Post and permanent Filling!

Hi, I have a question is it normal to feel pain after the post and permanent filling has been placed? It has been a week and a half now I and the pain is throbbing, I feel sore, I can feel the screw getting tighter it is just really uncomfortable, I am concerned that my dentist didn't do a good job. I am honestly considering pulling the tooth. what should i do???
