Dental crown options for a 6 year old
avatar
HealthyMTinPA posted:
My 6 year-old is in need of a crown (on his first molar) as a result of a cavity, which was made worse as a result of his nighttime grinding. I'm o.k. with a crown on a baby tooth, but am being told a silver crown is the only option for a baby tooth. Is that correct? Any issues with a silver crown for a "grinder" in terms of damage to the other teeth that will be grinding against the metal?
