    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

D3330 Molar (excluding final restoration) Procedure; What's Next?

Hi, I recently did a D3330; and it is pretty exposed (been like that for 2 weeks) but the dentist that did the D3330 told me I had a wisdom tooth obstructing the molar (like a spike coming out of the gun; not properly grown in place) in order to get a Crown on it, so I went to a oral surgeon to take it out and now I'm in a dilemma.

After I took out this teeth, do I only need a Crown to seal the exposed D3330 molar? Is it Required to have the Crown?
