    Burning Mouth Syndrome
    bfluharty posted:
I have had Burning Mouth Syndrome for over 6 years. It has been the most painful thing I have had. In my case my entire mouth hurts, tongue burns and tender, inside of my mouth feels like soars, can't touch the roof of my mouth and their were mornings when I woke up that my teeth hurt so bad I wanted to pull them out. I was fortunate to find a Psychiatrist that hadn't had a patient but a fellow colleague. She tried everything and came up with a combination that worked for her so I tried it and it works. Klonopin and Buspar together. Independently for me was nothing. I have 3 questions. #1 What is the longest anyone has had it, or it never went away. 2. If there is any other med or something please let me know. 3. My mother had Sjogren's Syndrome, could that autoimmune disease gene possibly be connected with my condition. My husband is so tired of me saying my mouth hurts every morning.
