Persistent Swollen Throat Glands (Post-Tonsillectomy)

ap1537 posted:
I had my tonsils removed back in late December (2013) and I feel much better overall but there is still a small amount of swelling that won't go away. When I look in my throat it looks bumpy around where my tonsils used to be, and my neck is puffy. Im active, play hockey/ski so Im outside in the cold dry MN winter air quite often (which Im hoping is the reason the healing seems to be coming on slowly). If anyone has gone through the same things post-tonsellectomy and has some tips to help the throat fully heal please let me now. Thanks
