Upper lip twitching / Muscle spasm
    liptwitch posted:
For the past week my upper lip (right side) has been twitching like a small muscle spasm. Any ideas what may be causing this?? It only happens when the lip is in the relaxed state. whiel it is twitching, when I touch it or move it then it stops.

    Hi liptwitch,

Read WebMD Tic Disorders (Motor Tics) and Twitches to learn more about your symptom. In most cases, this seems to be a normal, perfectly harmful temporary spasm that most people experience at some point in their lives. If it seems to continue for a long period of time, you might want to speak with your doctor.
    Take care!
    Best Wishes! Amelia

My twitching is on left side and I think it did this once before and I connected it with striped straws. I have been useing these straws again and it is twitching again is that possible? are a ball pen rubbing around my mouth out of habit are is it something going on with my health? I am going to stop these two habits and see. It stopped before. Any information would be helpful.
