Received a kidney transplant five years ago and before i received it I could walk miles without getting tired now its hard for me to climb a flight of steps and wanted to know what could be the problem???
MrsCora01 responded:
It could be many things. I have had my ups and downs and have found that sometimes it just takes a lot more to keep myself going. Have you had labs done recently? What is your hemoglobin? That is one of my big problems too.

Sorry I can't be more help. What does your transplant center say?

An_239265 replied to MrsCora01's response:
I get labs done on a regular basis. My hemoglobin is between 9-10, 11 is normal for me should be 14 but then my blood pressure will usually go out of wack. Transplant center doesn't have an solid answers for me.
MrsCora01 replied to An_239265's response:
I find that even a small change in my hb can make a big difference. I usually run about 10.5 and I am a bit below that right now. I feel pretty wiped. That could be the problem for you.
