If the pain is up near your groin then it could be caused by a problem in your hip so you need to have that checked out. See an orthopedic surgeon instead of your family doctor.

Hi calvin1023. .I just saw your post and wanted to let you know what happened to me. The day before Christmas eve I had this incredible pain in my lower back, hip, thigh, and calf. I thought that it was a sciadic nerve because I had problems with it before, went to a chiropractor and felt better. Well, early that morning I noticed my calf was swollen and I couldn't even hardly walk. And like you said my thigh muscle feels tired. I couldn't walk from my chair to the bathroom without my leg feeling completely worn out. So, I ended up going to the hospital. I have a DVT (deep vein thrombosis) in the four main veins running from my pelvic area through my thigh down to about 1/4 inch past my knee. It is horrible. I had to give myself lovenox shots for about week and I have been on warfarin for almost a month now and I still can't walk without a cane. I hope you go see a doctor or have already seen one. The symptoms you listed sound alot like mine. . it hurt me to bend over I couldn't even dress the right side of my body. And my whole leg would hurt when I get out of bed. . lack of blood flow. So, I hope my story helps!
