Bursa Removal Recovery Time

I had my bursa removed on Dec. 13 and was doing fine until I went back to work and started PT. Then my IT band became tight which is extremely painful. I went back to my surgeon and he told me to take 7 days off from work which I am doing now. I am in extreme pain and wish I never had the surgery done. Both hips needed the surgery and at this point I will not have the other hip done unless this one improves drastically. Did anyone else encounter these type of problems and is so what did you do. I am at my wits end!
