    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

    Manipulation after TKR

    I had a TKR 8 weeks ago. I have been going to PT 2X a week. I
have also been following through with exercies at home. My bending is good but I am still having a problem with my extension. I went to
the surgeon this morning and he wants me to continue with therapy
for another month and then go back to him. If the extension is still
not good then he suggested doing manipulation. Of course I am
very concerned about the possibility of having this done. I really
don't feel like being knocked out again. Has anybody had this done
and if so did you find that if made a difference? Having gone
through the knee replacement I will do whatever it takes to get the
knee right but am hoping it doesn't come to that.
