Ankle Allograft surgery/osteoarthritis

I'll keep this brief 'til I get some response. Had cadaver bone graft to my rt talus 2/13/13 to correct for degenerative bone--about 12mm hole and surrounding spongy bone. Probably from old ankle injuries, I'm a 60 yr old male. Just had the Ilizarov frame (halo) removed, wearing a boot and just started PT. I have impingement and pain when I stand on it, swelling when I don't have it elevated, and walking (without crutches or scooter) is pretty much out of the question.

Would appreciate tips on recovery, discussion of similar experiences, and I'd be glad to share my experiences.
