I had a TKR 13 months ago and was doing well until about a month
ago. I am starting to feel pain in the knee and when I get up from a chair I can hear a cracking in the knee which I didn't hear before.
I would have thought by now all pain would have gone away. I am
going to make an appt with the orthopedist but am wondering if any
body has experieced this or has any input

I had my first TKR on my right knee 19 months ago, and the 2nd on my left knee almost 10 months ago. Even though they are both still somewhat stiff and sore, I try to exercise in the rehab pool 3-5 times a week. BUT, there is definitely NO pain and NO cracking in either knee. I am SO glad that you are going to see your orthopedist. Please keep us up on your progress. Sending good thoughts & prayers your way.
