About the only thing I can still do without an inordinate amount of pain is to ride the stationary bike. Over the past three months, I have ridden anywhere from 4 to 11 miles, depending on the day, how I was feeling, and how much time I had. I was also able to do some hand held weights, but had to be careful not to do any twisting exercises--just build up my arm and back musles, and a little of my abdominal muscles.
