What is bone health?

Bone health simply entails ones that are strong, firm and free from osteoporosis, or rather, bone loss. Just like other organs, your bones are composed of living tissues. Bones are essential to your health as they give you the body frame, support and protect your organs, and help in movement. Since bones are vital parts of your body, it is important to become familiar with factors that can alter their health. For your bones to remain healthy and strong, you should consume foods rich in calcium and vitamin D, engage in weight-bearing workouts, stay free from cigarettes, and avoid overindulging in alcohol.
