I call Dr for the advise, why it is such so ,he advise me for Blood Uric Acid Test. and the report comes out at 7.6-which is high.

3-2-2013 I always thought gout was a man's disease. Not any more.yes women can get gout very painful more dangerous if you have kidney disease like I do. First the doctor thought I sprained my ankle but the fluid went into my ankle and my leg. Foot/ankle was twice the size and very red.. I went to a foot doctor he told me the I had "Gout" I was shocked.I wore a mibile cast for 2 weeks the pain is horrific. My uric acid level is 11.2. Which is extremely high.I think my gout came from the fish oil I was taken. I don't drink or eat shell fish.I don't eat organ meat very little red meat. The best thing to do is to keep a journal of everything you eat. I know that even mushrooms and beans can give you gout. Have to do is research. Youtube is a good place to learn about gout.
