I'm nearing the end of my 2-year Forteo[a> treatment. Is there a recommended time to initiate a follow-up medication -- one week? One month? Prolia[a> is the maintenance drug I'm leaning towards.

My understanding is that you follow up asap to strengthen the new bone made by the Forteo.
