Bicycle Crunches

Are bicycle crunches safe for those with osteoporosis? I would think "yes" since the spine is motionless, the abs are contracted, and only the legs are moving.

I do them all the time and I've never had problems, pain or discomfort.

I think the main thing is to ensure you do them correctly - upper back and torso straight, with the twisting movement originating at the hips. It's a great exercise for the abs and obliques.
