Microchip Implanted to Deliver Forteo
Elizabeth_WebMD_Staff posted:
Well, this is interesting - Researchers in Denmark implanted osteoporosis patients with microchips to deliver the bone building medication Forteo.

Drug Delivery Microchip Could Replace Daily Injections

How do you feel about this? Would you implant a microchip in your body to deliver the daily meds that you need?

I think it is a very good idea.

If one should decide for some or other reason to stop the medication (e.g. because of side effects) I suppose you can always have it removed.

As long as the programmers don't make a mistake somewhere (human error) and you end up taking the wrong dosage!
