I just found out I'm osteopenia despite having my vitamin D in a great range. My mom has osteoporosis and I suppose I've inherited it. At one time my mom mentioned she had been told to avoid a certain artificial sweetener in some diet sodas. Does anyone know what this sweetener is? Thanks!

Hi! I have also just been told I have it. Have you changed anything about your lifestyle? Im trying to find a way to improve my bone density.

Could the sweetener be aspartame? I know it has other negative health consequences, it wouldnt surprise me if bone loss was one of them.
