CAT Scans Question
avatar
DaringDarkwing posted:
My mother is a Cancer survivor- she is 6 years Cancer free. She had Stage I Ovarian Cancer, and underwent a hysterectomy and 6 months of chemotherapy. Every year she goes in for blood work, and her doctor wants her to go in for more blood work and have a CAT Scan next year (2011).

Is it necessary for her to have a CAT Scan, even though nothing has been showing up in the blood work?

Thanks!
