I have a question hopefully someone out there can answer. If you had a hysterectomy, can you still get ovarian cancer?

If you did not have your ovarys taken out when you had your hysterectomy you can get ovarian cancer.

Yes u can. My mom is 64yrs old & just diagnosis with stage 3c ovarian cancer. She had a partial hysterectomy in Dec 1986. She is very positive! It's been very scary but we will all fight n support her! She will WIN! She will start her 18 weeks of chemotherapy on Jan 19,2014.
