What could be causing ascities.

I look like I am six or seven months pregnant. I have been like this for months. It seems to get worse when I am on my period and after this time it has stayed and is really uncomfortable. What could be causing this and is there anything I can do or should I see a doctor?

Yes, you should get this checked out medically.

Typically liver disease can cause ascites.
