Hi. The twins are doing really well except for having their days and nights mixed up. Erin gained 3 oz and grew 2 inches in the first week and James lost 6 oz because he was in the NICU for 5 days. They go back to the doctor on Wednesday for a growth check.
I'm hoping that Erin will be up to 5 lbs then. James is over 6 lbs, so he's already at a good weight. My mother-in-law is coming today for a week visit. I'm really excited because I need to sleep.

Duke is a great dog name! <3 My female dog (Poppy) is actually a French Bulldog/Boston Terrier about the size of a cat. She thinks that the babies are hers. If someone she doesn't know comes over to see the babies, she barks at them and growls. This is a dog that only barks when someone knocks on the door. Our boy dog, (Roland), is a Frenchie/Pug who is legally blind. He sometimes walks up to the babies and licks them.
I went to the doctor today for my 3 week checkup and my c-section scar has healed so well, the doctor told me that I can take baths now!!!
Also, I had gained 38 lbs with the twins. When I stepped on the scale today, I have now lost 45 lbs in 3 weeks!!! I'm having migraines all the time, so my doctor referred me to a neurologist. Hopefully, she'll be able to help me. Also, my OB prescribed Reglan to help with my milk supply. I hope it helps!

Your dogs also sound adorable! The three breeds you mentioned are all my favorites! We have a Pug, Ramone, at home who loves our boys to death!

I love seeing people from here on there so I can see all of the precious babies. Also, it means a lot to me to share in the joy of people who have also struggled with infertility. We've all been through such a hard time.
I was wondering how I had lost so much weight so fast, but as I was picking at my cold dinner, I realized just how much I've cut back on eating because I seem to always have a baby in my arms. My own needs are last now. I have to take care of the babies, then the dogs, then my husband, and then myself. I also know that some of the weight, at least 10 lbs worth, was from the swelling.
