Wow! I know mine is only one month old, but we can't imagine doing this again! I saw my OBGYN yesterday for the first time since our eventful birth and he's the first doctor that believed me when I said we are done. I'm still going to go back on birth control and give ourselves some time to debate permanent options. We should probably at least have the baby home from the nicu before we make any final decisions. If you do decide to try again good luck!

Personally, I love a little crazy. IMO - I would wait a few more months before jumping on the TTC train, but I think it's amazing if you choose to have more kids. Having twins myself, I can understand the amount of time and work it takes to be a mother of multiples. Since we had twins we chose to wait a bit longer to TTC again than we would have if we had had a singleton. Good luck with whatever you choose.

I can completely relate! I love babies and start thinking about when I can have another one soon after giving birth despite HATING pregnancy! So I don't think you're crazy at all. I do think you will have your hands full, but I'm sure that's something you've already considered! Having gone through IVF myself I know how time consuming and physically exhausting it is. You might want to think about waiting a few more months to enjoy your babies before putting your body through that again. But only you can decide what's right! Good luck!!

You guys are right. We would wait a few more months and I told DH I would only consider it if I could stop working. It is hard having 4 kids at home and working full time. There just isn't enough time in the day!!! We are trying to figure out now if it is possible for me to stay at home.

you are so lucky! atleast your husband is willing to have another child. my husband has been saying "we are done" ever since our daughter was born. right after i had the c-section, i was so sick i agreed with him, but now i want to have another child. my daughter deserves a sibling. it makes me sad that he has made that decision for us. strangely enough my cycles have been regular since i gave birth. i dont know how long that will last, but i cant help but think that we should take advantage of that....
i dont want to scare him now, but in a year or so, i really want to convince him to try again. i forget now if you had a c-section or not, but i've read that with c-section you should give it sometime so the scar can heal. but you should do what you feel is right for you and your family kids are a blessing and they grow so fast!
