Many of you had preemies so I know you'll understand my shock. My daughter was born at 28 weeks 5 days and today is 4 days adjusted. Last night during tummy time she rolled onto her back! The sheet they gave me from early intervention says they should do that at 3-4 months. She'll be 3 months actual on the 23rd, but they expect that stuff to happen on an adjusted schedule. She's been working on holding her head for a couple of weeks and is doing pretty well for a few minutes then gets tired and flops. I'm so excited she's doing so well!

Congrats to your daughter and her amazing accomplishment!!! Our children will never cease to amaze us. I'm happy to hear that your LO has been able to overcome so much after being born so premature.

Thanks everyone! It's so exciting to watch her develop. She hasn't rolled over again, but she's come close a few times. It may have just been a fluke of how her arms were when she was wiggling. Today she's 3 months old (and was due 12 days ago). She's been smiling randomly for a while, but the last couple of days she's started random giggles. I'm the only one that's seen it but it's adorable. She did it this morning and I sat there with my cell phone ready to record forever but she didn't do it again.

I'm impressed that she rolled over so early. My twins are 6 months old and my daugher rarely rolls over. She can hold her head up, and tries to crawl during tummy time, but she doesn't like to roll. Her brother, on the other hand, has rolled off of the couch twice. Luckily, there were pillows there to catch him. He's really rolly-polly!

When my babies started giggling, they did it whenever our small French Bulldogs would let them pet them. Also, they like it when I make squirty noises with my mouth, and dance around acting silly. I also have my cell phone ready trying to record it when they do something cute, but mine never want to do anything while I have the phone out. I think it's because they know that they phone has Baby Einstein videos and they want me to turn it around and let them watch.

Keep us updated with how you guys are doing.
