I had my 16w appointment today and everything looks good. The baby's heartbeat was 148bpm. I still don't know if we're going to find out the sex, but I'm looking into all the myths for gender prediction. The Chinese calendar says boy (if it's based on the month of conception and not the last day of your first period), but the heartbeat predictor says girl. DH loves saying that I'm carrying his baby boy. Either way we're happy with healthy, but it is kind of fun guessing.

I plan on doing the glucose test this week and I am NOT looking forward to it.
The only concern I have is that I'm still tired. I sleep all the time. My OB said that hopefully by 18w I'll be back to normal. Fingers crossed.

I haven't been around in awhile...Thanks for checking in, Marla. I'm 30wks preggo and I'm mega uncomfortable. And yes, I've resisted any desire to find out the sex.

This time around is definitely different then when I was pg with my twins. There's more room in there for this little guy to swim around so I'm getting kicked a lot more. At this point, I haven't had any issues with pre-term labor. I am, however, having issues with my abdominal muscles. The weeks are flying by. I attribute this to the daily responsibilities of taking care of my two little monsters and not having the luxury of free time to just sit around and simply enjoy my pregnancy.

So far I've had three different due dates that range from June 17 to June 28th. So it's even more of a mystery of when this little guy is going to be making an appearance.

We're having a difficult time with names. If it's a boy, we know the middle name will be Brian, after my dad. But no first name. If it's a girl, DH is coming around to naming her Riley. (Note: Which I liked before it was becoming popular. I like it from the movie National Treasure even though it's a boy's name in the movie.) But no middle name for a girl. We are slowly running out of time.

I'll keep you all posted. Hope all is well.

That is so great. I love the name Riley. Very sweet naming a boy after your dad. Keep us posted.
