    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

    We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

    And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

    What Do You Need to Do?

    The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

    Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

    Hi Anon;
    Im not a doctor but i will give it a shot. First off did the Dentist do any x-rays. One im thinking about would be a panoramic. This goes from one side of your jaw to the other and then it gets views of the upper and lower teeth. This could be a slow brewing infection deep in your gums. Do you have any fillings that are loose or out of a tooth. This can cause a metal taste and have a bad smell. Well i hope maybe i helped some or maybe not at all, you have a good day.

    Anon,
    What type of medications are you taking? Do you have any other chronic pain conditions? I have RSD/CRPS and when my pain is high, it makes my teeth hurt. All my medications list dry mouth as a side effect. But, I have one medication, Trental, that has a terrible aftertaste and is extremely drying. I have to be very careful to keep my mouth moist because the dryness causes my tongue to get sore and can increase tooth decay.

    I hope you find an answer soon.
