All morning I have been having quick sharp pains on the right side of my head approx. every 10 minutes. In the area right behind my right ear. Could this just be caused by allergies?

You need to see your doctor for evaluation and treatment. It is both against the rules here and impossible for us to know what could be causing your symptoms.
