Lyrica side effects Q's

darlyn05 posted:
For those of you that do or have used Lyrica for nerve pain I was wondering if you experienced any minor or major side effects from it. My most recent is a constant ringing in my ears, blurred vision, some memory (and/or sharpness in my thinking) difficulty and apparently I've talked in my sleep as if I have torrets.

I've been on a low dose 50mg 3 x's/day for about 2 1/2 mos. I can lessen some of the side effects, like sleep talking, by decreasing how many x's a day I take it.

Also, is it possible that other side effects will appear as more time goes by?

TIA

Hi Darlyn,

Be sure to share these questions with your prescribing doctor. It may take some adjustments in dosage and time of day when taking them to sort it all out for you.

For feedback on this, I encourage you to repost your message on our Fibromyalgia Community where there are more members who have tried Lyrica.

I've been using lyrica for about three months now. I haven't noticed any side effects as yet? Perhaps you are on too high a dose? I have to say, do what Caprice suggested. Talk to your Dr.! I asked my Dr. about possible side effects prior to using lyrica, and the pharmasist. They both had good knowledge of the side effects. I take a 75mg. capsule once a day at bedtime. And, like i said, so far so good.

Talk to your Dr. about this. It may have something to do with other meds you might be taking?

Good luck, and best wishes! Dennis
