Back pain.Felt like thousand needle poking your back.

I have a teenager boy,whom complaining back pain feels like needle poking his back.i was thinking of bring him for medical check up this Saturday.but I was scared as I had a friend whom died of leukemia whom also have back pain and also happened so fast in 2 days that the cancer spread...I am worry please advice how to see if he is facing the same matter?he had a fever last week but was ok already,just slightly normal cough..my husband also had back pain but it was because of some other matter,er something like to do with neuro system..

If your son were to have something like leukemia then not going to the doctor is not going to change anything. That being said, the chances of his symptoms being caused by leukemia are close to nothing. That is not even a usual symptom of leukemia. I'm sure your friend had a whole host of other symptoms before he had back pain and died.

Many things can cause back pain, take him to the doctor so they can figure out what the problem is.
