The pain specialist I when't to said they would call me to set up another M.R.I. They have not return'ed my calls after repeated try's and it's been two week's now.Plus the Dr. was cold and indifferent to my concern's.My last M.R.I. was in 2008 and they did a full serie's of test's and that Dr. told me, And he is one of the best in his field.That there was nothing he could do for my back.This Dr. removed the broken disc from my neck,C4 and fused the one above it, and below it together.He also told me I would probably have to take pain med's the rest of my life.He did not say however, anything about any arthritis, I was devastated by this new's.My Nurse Practitioner is concerned about my health and I trust her.Seen her today 5-23 told her about the pain specialist appt. and she referred today to this new one.this one,on their website say's they can help within 48 hour's I'm looking for anwser's Annette030.Not cold and indifference to these physical ailment's that are so prevalent in my life right now.I hope that help'd to clarify for you. I will post what happen's.Thank's for your post's I enjoy the feedback.

The fact that the doctor was cold and indifferent, and non-responsive to your phone calls are all good reasons to change doctors. Later, when you feel better, you might write the doctor a note and explain why you didn't come back.

Next time ask the doctor for a time frame for returning phone calls, setting up referrals, RX refills etc. That gives you more information.
