Is there any reason why you cannot increase the opiates?

It is absolutely normal to become tolerant of opiates and require an increase in dosage periodically. It is not a sign of addiction.

How long have you been on daily opiate therapy? Do you have any problems with them or with respiratory depression?

Take care, Annette

I agree with Annette. Just try and see if an increase in medication will help. To be honest, you are on a pretty low dose of pain medication. There is tons of room to move up in dosage. You are no where near the end of the line when it comes to pain medication.
