    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

    Yours in health,

just wanted to put my experience out there, as i almost didnt try this patch because id heard very negative things... it has been wonderful for me, helped my fibromyalgia pain, especially am, and lower back pain. only thing ive noticed is it seems as though the hydrocodone isnt as effective for bt med with it. very little in terms of side effects, just some itching and irritation at the patch site. also the sweating from savella makes the patch look moldy by the end of the week. also it only lasts about five days not seven. feels wonderful to finally have my pain under control!

Thanks for sharing! I've never been on it...but these boards really need people who share good experiences as too many are skewed to the negative...I think going in with a positive attitude is very important.

I've always believed in giving any new med at least a month try (barring any actual true allergic reaction)...Many of the nuisance side effects end up going away after those weeks..

So..hopefully you will continue to have good success with your pain control on it and help someone else looking in to it.
