The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Sharp knee pain after ACL surgery.

I had my ACL Replaced in 2007. I don't think it was a traditional surgery because everyone I talk to has had the ham string replacement and I had a bone-tendon-bone graft done. I also had my miniscus shaved. The pain I am experiencing is after I have been sitting for a long period of time (even sleeping) when ever I put weight on my leg I get a very sharp pain on the inside of my knee cap right by my scar. It is almost impossible to put my full weight on my leg. I don't have any problem bending it or anything it is only to put weight on it and it isn't stiff. I don't think this is arthritis. What could this possibly be? Will I need surgery again?
    Thanks!
