    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

    Yours in health,

Rather than add to the existing five-page thread, I am copying and re-posting the link to the article.

I think that now, when chronic pain patients are being attacked as drug seeking, and being told that our meds can cause long-term adverse effects, this information is vital.

Thank you Cweinbl, for initially posting this information.

Hello there Beth!! I found you! I have to deal with chronic pain issues too.....every single day along with fighting to keep myself from slipping into the depressed mode of bipolar....all the while raising my 14 yr old daughter (who has really been acting out lately!!!) and of course my cats!
I get up and have to wear a brace for my back pain...at least most of the day. Also the fibromyalgia which actually has been brought on by all the meds I have had to take over the years and they have caused nerve ending damage. Also I really can't remember a day going by that I don't have a headache or a migraine.......but I admire you so very very much my friend!! It is so nice to have met a friend like you!!

Deb Lou! How cool is THIS?

I had no idea that you were on this site.

I sent you a long FB email.

    Let's chat later, ok?

I am so honoured to "meet" you.

I am getting my new Aspen Brace tomorrow.

The velcro on the old one is not working, and duct taping the brace on is a little tough.
