Pain in left side when I cough
    Jgebhard posted:
I am having this problem now. I had a bad cold, and I feel as if I am at the end of it, but it took one month. In the meantime, about a week ago I started having pain in my left side. I took Advil and it helps, but when I sleep, I cough and the pain is so bad it wakes me up. When I roll over, I also have pain. Each day I hope the pain will disappear. If it doesn't by tomorrow, I will go to a clinic.

Have you seen a doctor yet? We just cannot even guess what is wrong with you. It could be just a muscle strain from coughing, or it could be something very serious. Let us know when you find out more.

    Take care, Annette
    Jgebhard replied to annette030's response:

I did make an appointment, but the earliest time I could schedule one is for this Friday. In the meantime, my side pain has subsided and I have a less of a cold. If all the pain is gone by Wednesday, I'll cancel the appointment. Thanks for your concern.

    annette030 replied to Jgebhard's response:
Sounds like good sense to me. Please see the doctor if your pain continues, if it gets worse there is always urgent care or the ER if you need them.

    Take care, Annette
