    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

    Yours in health,

does anyone know of a good pain mgmt dr in the bangor maine or brewer maine area, it is almost impossible to get pain meds in this state, the dr that had me on them, moved out of state and since then, i have had to basically start all over again. I have missed so much work, i cannot loose my job! But I have a hard time even getting out of bed everyday

I'm sorry, but it is against the rules in all WebMD communities to recommend or even mention a doctor by name. Some people post asking for doctor recommendations and give an e-mail address that would not give away any personal information.

You can always use Yahoo, Google, Bing, or any search engine to search for a pain management doctor in your area. Have you discussed this with your primary doctor? He/she may be able to refer you to a good pain management doctor that can help you. In some cases primary doctors can and do prescribe pain medications.

I pray you can find help and relief soon.

WebMD prohibits the recommendation of any specific physician or physician's group, with no exceptions.
