Neuropathy Pain

I am experiencing a new intensity of acute pain beginning just below my outer ankle than bursting upward past my ankle as the pain intensifies and shoots up my leg. This is the first time I have had this type of pain in this area and at this intensity; It has been coming every 12 to 14 seconds for the last 3 hours. I took a percocet 2 hours ago but the pain continues. I don't know what to do, it is so severe I think I may become sick. I have tried to fall asleep but cannot. I wonder if it is not associated with my neuropathy at all, and is a different problem. Can someone please help me. I am beginning to feel desperate.

Hello.

I'm sorry you are in so much pain. I think your best course of action would be to contact your doctor. You may consider going to an urgent care clinic or to a hospital emergency room for evaluation and treatment.

I pray you find relief soon.
