Pain and alternate side numbness, tingling after shingles
LisaLouise posted:
I was recently hospitalized for 6 days with severe singles on my upper left arm. Weeks later, I still have pain, and can't move my left arm from the elbow up. I'm on medication, physical therapy, and acupuncture. I'm very concerned because my right thumb, and now , other fingers on my right hand are numb and tingling. Last night the pain from this woke me with its severity. No one has an answer for this. I've noticed that this numbness and tingling is much worse if I sit, and decreases upon standing. What is going on?

Sorry, but it against the Terms Of Service in all WebMD Communities to provide any type of diagnosis or medical advice. You will need to see your doctor for evaluation and treatment.

I pray you can get answers and relief soon.
