    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

    - I'll write it like this so you don't have to read an essay. [br>[br>- A little over a year ago I was walking in my house and turned quickly and heard a fairly loud popping noise in my knee. [br>[br>- I was in mild pain for the remainder of the night. [br>[br>- However, the next morning when I woke up I could tell it was more serious than I thought, because before I even got out of bed my knee was in ALOT of pain. So much pain that I was almost in tears walking to work that day. [br>[br>- At work that day I could barely walk on that leg, because it hurt to put any weight on it. [br>[br>- For the next couple days following, my knee buckled a few times while walking, causing me to fall on the floor. [br>[br>- After about a week the pain went away. However, for the past year and a half I've had trouble with my knee. [br>[br>- If I stand or sit for a long period of time my knee starts to hurt. [br>[br>- It feels as if I have arthritis in my knee or something. [br>[br>- Also, everytime I fully extend my knee back and forth I feel a few distinct "clicks"..Every single time!! [br>[br>- The pain is usually located in the back of my knee or on the right side of my knee. [br>[br>- The pain and discomfort gets so bad sometimes that it keeps me up at night. [br>[br>Can anyone help me with some ideas of what it could be?? [br>[br>Thanks!! [br>[br>If it helps I am 6'2" 185 lbs.

    Hello.

I am sorry, but it is against the Terms Of Service (rules) in all WebMD communities for anyone to diagnose or offer any type of actual medical advice. It is also impossible to do that over any internet message board.

You will need to see your doctor for evaluation and treatment. Start with your doctor, but then you will probably need to see a good orthopedic specialist/surgeon.

I pray you can find answers and relief soon.
