Post PCNL back discomfort
DJaffar posted:
I have recently underwent a PCNL procedure to remove stone at my left kidney.

4 days ago, the stent has been retrieved and just about 2 days ago I felt some degree of discomfort at my lower back.

I was wondering what could be the cause of the discomfort.

I drive about 15-20 minutes to work and lift my baby boy who is a year older after work.

Could be the driving and lifting my boy be the cause of that discomfort?

Please advise.

First, I would talk to the doctor who put in and then removed the stent. If he says the pain is not from your kidney, then I would talk to my primary doctor see what she says.

Take care, Annette
